Patricia Zarate is a visual artist whose work has been exhibited in the United States and internationally in Croatia, Colombia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, and South Korea. In 2004 she was the recipient of an Individual Artist Support Grant from the Queens Council on the Arts. Her work has been reviewed in ArtNexus, Art News, Newsday, and the Philadelphia Weekly.

Zarate was born in Cali, Colombia. She received a Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York. She currently lives and works in New York City.
