I was born in Seoul, Korea in 1970 to a poet father and a teacher mother.
I studied painting at Hongik University in Seoul, Korea, performance art at Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Art Paris - Cergy, and video at Ecole National Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Today, I live and work in Pennsylvania in the United States.

In 2009, I was awarded a solo exhibition at Munhwailbo Gallery Seoul Korea; and selected as an artist in residence at the National Museum of Contemporary Art Korea.
In 2009, I moved to the USA, and I started to do my artistic activities by participating in an artist in residence program at the Petrified Forest National Park Arizona in 2010. This past year, I was selected to participate in the 26th Annual National Juried Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Barrett Art Center Galleries; The Big Light Show at Anderson Ranch Arts Center; the Arts in the Air Project organized by Bread Board at PECO’s Clown Lights Tower in Philadelphia; and the "Art and the Environment" Exhibition at Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan.
In my work, I describe the flow of memory through drawing, video and other media.
My work tells the story of things that grow, live, die and disappear.
