Rachel is a representational artist exploring a liminal realism, meaning an imaginative space of the mind. My paintings have a strong narrative quality and my goal is to achieve an emotional connection to the viewer. New York City, natural settings and people inhabit my paintings.
I currently create acrylic paintings on canvas, drawing in pencil, pastel and wash, pastel and gouache (mixed media), silverpoint, and rod and other puppets
