Ronald Parent

Born and raised in eastern Connecticut, Ron received his undergraduate degree in Art Education from Southern Connecticut State University where he studied painting under Howard Fussiner. He received his graduate degree in Art Education from Central Connecticut State University. Ron specializes in landscapes and seascapes, primarily utilizing the medium of pastels. He draws inspiration from the waterways and beaches along the eastern seaboard. Ron shows his work regularly across New England. He is a member of the Pastel Society of Connecticut, Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod,and Easthampton City Arts in Easthampton, Massachusetts, where he currently resides.
