Ruby Chu is a native of Arizona who spent her adolescent years in Hong Kong. She is a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s (ICP) Advanced Track Program, a practicing data scientist, and the creative director of De la nada. She holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed the Underwater Photography Program with Ocean Nomad Underwater Photography School in Mexico. In addition, she had completed design, sculpture, computer graphics courses at Albright College. She has been a teaching assistant at ICP since 2017. Her work had been shown at the Freedman Gallery in Reading, Pennsylvania, Black Box Gallery in Portland, Oregan, and various magazines.
