Artist Bio

Sara Frantz received her BS from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a MFA in Painting from the University of Texas at Austin. Recent exhibitions include David Shelton Gallery in Houston, Women & Their Work in Austin, and Muriel Guepin Gallery in New York. In 2013, she received the Graham Weston Award for Visual Arts, a grant from the San Antonio Artist Foundation. Frantz currently splits her time between Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo where she is an Assistant Professor of Studio Art in Cal Poly’s Art & Design Department.
