Sean Buckley

Born in Dallas, TX from a Spanish, Pakistan born mother and an American Irish father. Moved to Mexico City, Mexico in 2000 with my parents where I completed my high school education and International Baccalaureate degree in the international school, American School Foundation. Completed a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree (emphasis in sculpture and Art & Technology) in School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008. Now completing a Masters of Liberal Arts degree in UNC-Asheville.

Subject and medium of works vary. Subject typically revolve around humanity in the environmental and psychological context. Common themes are dichotomies such as entropy and decadence, materialism and spiritualism, isolation and expansion, science and mysticism, emigration and immigration. Currently I am researching historical cultural exchanges.
