Steph Hargrove is an artist and maker. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Art and Performance from the University of Texas at Dallas. Steph’s work has been shown at Craighead Green, Ro2 Art, UTD Spin Gallery, the MAC, Beefhaus, 500x, Green Bandana, Trans.lation, the UTD Art Barn, and IndieWalls.

Steph relocated from Dallas, Texas to a beautiful beach in Isabela, Puerto Rico with her husband and wiener dog to make art next to the ocean. Unfortunately Hurricane Maria forced her to evacuate Puerto Rico and start a new adventure in Florida. Steph is loving her beach life in Clearwater and the ocean continues to inspire much of her work.

Steph has been raising funds and awareness through art since 2012. She was the market coordinator and a member of the steering committee for Trans.lation, a social practice project led by Rick Lowe and sponsored by the Nasher Sculpture Center. She is the founder and sole fundraiser of an arts education program at a school for orphans in Kenya and has successfully maintained that program since 2014. CauseFlowers wall sculptures were designed for Rainforest Trust and saved 100 acres in 2017. Donations were made to Population Services International, Ocean Conservancy, Rainforest Trust, The Sato Project, and the arts program in Kenya through the sale of handmade items and photography in 2018. Currently Steph is working on an art series that supports Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, as well as new product lines for fall of 2019 that support her favorite political, social, and environmental causes.
