Sarah Demas is a nationally and internationally exhibited figurative painter. She earned her MFA from the New York Academy of Art where she was able to pursue her love of the portrait and depicting the human form in her art. Ms. Demas has earned numerous awards including a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist award in 2006. She has been an Artist- in- Residence at Wesley Seminary in Washington, DC and The Julia and David White Artist’s Colony in Costa Rica. She currently resides in Washington, DC.
