Born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Emigrated to The USA in 1949.Became a naturalized American Citizen in 1956.Lived continually in New York City, attending public schools. BA from Queens College; major in mathematics, minor in physics and art.Attended art classes at SVA, Art Students League, Parsons, etc.
Most important work is in painting and printmaking.
Primarily representation (landscape, still life , figurative) but at times abstraction.
In printmaking, etchings and silk-monotypes mostly, with some lithography too.
Numerous solo exhibitions at Gallery 84, New york, The arts Connction, Atlanta, and Creiger Gallery, Boston, as well as many group exhibitions.
