Sea Yoon was born in Seoul, Korea in 1988. At age of fourteen, she moved to U.S. with her family. She obtained her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, in 2011. During those years, she gained experiences in installation, display, and teaching through several internship programs. She revisited Korea to study abroad in Hongik University to regain the culture of her country. When she returned to U.S, she received her MAT from the Notre Dame University of Maryland in 2013 to be certified to teach art. Currently, she is working as an art teacher in a public school in Maryland and continuing to pursue her career as an artist. She resides and has a studio in Clarksville, Maryland.
