Tammy Hirl

I became interested in art at an early age, as my Grandmother was an artist, and she helped develop my love for art. I continued my pursuit of art by attending Dallas Baptist University and obtained a degree in Fine Arts. Working to pursue a career in the art field many of my paintings have been accepted to various shows. I would like to continue to use my artwork to help communicate concepts and ideas in a way that helps people to ask deeper questions and to create change. I work in many different styles of art, but most of my work is done in the form of abstraction as I feel that this gives me the freedom to communicate ideas and concepts in a way that words cannot. I also like to paint in the Plakatstil style as it has a vintage look. Working primarily in these two styles gives me a variety of ways to express my opinions, feelings, and thoughts.
