A true South Florida native, Tom D'Auria was born August 23rd, 1989 in Boynton Beach and grew up in Lake Worth, FL. He attended two prestigious art schools in his formative years and graduated from Ringling College of Art & Design with distinction in 2011, earning his BFA.
After graduating, Tom taught as an Artist in Residence at his former high school and later became a full-time art instructor at his former middle school. In 2012, He was contacted by Columbia Sportswear to create artwork for their Performance Fishing Gear apparel.
D'Auria's expressionistic and vivid style sets itself apart from his contemporaries in the sport fish/wildlife genre and his signature works are easily recognized by audiences worldwide. Known for breathing life into his subject matter, D'Auria combines the juxtaposing influences of loose realism and striking fantasy to create his unique imagery.
