I've been painting for about 40 years. I've developed my skills through experimentation and hard work, and have preferred to not have any formal art education. I have worked mostly on private commissions, both for portraiture and landscape. Most of my portraits have been painted from photographs that I have taken. Though I enjoy drawing and sculpture (particularly stone and preferably alabaster), I work primarily in oil on canvas or linen.
My paintings have been on exhibition in many Galleries, particularly the East Coast. I have works in many collections.
