Tricia Keightley is a New York City based painter who recently completed a public art commission for the New York Subway "Arts for Transit" program.
Raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Keightley studied at Parsons School of Design and graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute with a B.F.A. in Painting. Keightley's work is a type of mechanical abstraction where imagined engineered forms create formal compositions.
Keightley has exhibited internationally as well as throughout the New York area. Keightley is a recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Painting as well as a MacDowell Colony Fellowship in 2010.
