Tracy Krumm is a sculptor, educator and researcher of textile processes and material studies. Her work has exhibited internationally in numerous galleries and museums for over 25 years, including the Central Museum in Lodz, Poland, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, the Museum of Art and Design in New York, and the Kohler Art Center in Sheboygan, WI.

She received her BFA with High Distinction from the California College of Arts and Crafts in 1987 and her MFA in visual art from Vermont College in 1995. She has taught workshops and been a visiting artist, lecturer and faculty member at numerous institutions since 1990 including the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Cranbrook Academy of Art, the Memphis College of Art, Indiana University at Bloomington, Anderson Ranch, Arrowmont, Haystack and Penland. She was a Visiting Assistant Professor from 2006-2008 at North Carolina State University in Raleigh and since 2008, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Fiber Department at the Kansas City Art Institute.

In 2007 and 2008, two grants from the International Folk Art Foundation allowed her to complete Big Fiber: Human Tools, four site-specific installations on Museum Hill in Santa Fe. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Metalsmith, Sculpture Magazine, American Craft, Fiber Arts, Surface Design Journal and Textil Forum. Pieces reside in many private, corporate and museum collections, including the US Department of State, the Museum of Fine Art in Houston, the Denver Art Museum, Bloomingdale's and Ford Motor Company.
