Born in Oregon, Trish Booth grew up on her family's wheat and cattle ranch in Montana's Highwood Mountains. The Big Sky Country made a lasting impression. The wide open spaces, ranches, barns, bunkhouses, and abandoned buildings fed the sensibilities of her young imagination. During Trish's youth, her family's multi-generational ranching heritage came to an end when her grandparents sold the ranch and retired.
Trish attended the San Francisco Art Institute, graduating in 1988. She remained in the Bay Area until 2007, when she and her husband relocated to Truchas, New Mexico to pursue "a studio with a view" and full time painting.
She has exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the US as well as in France and Namibia.
