Claire Chene attended Arizona State University, the University of the Americas in Mexico City and has a BFA from Cal State University Fullerton.
She lives and works in Los Angeles, with a studio in Venice Ca. She travels often to Europe and Japan and has shown in the Art in Embassies program in Beijing, China, Romania and The Dominican Republic. She worked on a project with Claude Albore Lividie for UNESCO Art and Archeology, "Art Signs".
She exhibits regularly at FIG Gallery in Santa Monica, California.
