Will Copps is an audio-visual artist and musician known for his interactive installations, atmospheric music, and signature visual style. He has spoken at various international universities and museums, received an award from the John F. Kennedy Center, and traveled on an art grant from the U.S. State Department.
Copps creates both standalone audio-visual pieces and custom-coded generative installations that spectators interact with through SONAR detection in museum and gallery spaces. His installations and films have shown at the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the Smithsonian Institution and Georgia Museum of Art in the United States, and elsewhere.
Copps' visual style focuses on the exploration of contrast, synesthesia and color. He is the Communications Manager at Videopong.net, a non-profit website for sharing and remixing video clips for VJs. He is also one-half of the rock band Wall of Trophies.
