I was born in Seoul Korea and immigrated to U.S when I was 21 in 1985. Graduated from SMU, in Dallas with Bachelor of Fine Arts. Married Grace and have a child, Emmeline, in 1990. Joined U.S. ARMY in 1991 thru 1995 during Bosnia / Somalia war. A hardship Oversea tour assignment in Korea for a year, and returned to 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY in 1993. Honorable discharged from the U.S.ARMY in 1995. Then Moved to Philadelphia, PA for higher education in 1995, and received Master of Fine Arts from Graduate School of Fine Arts, University of Pennsylvania with scholarship / Veteran Affairs Grant. Live and work in Philadelphia as a program/ gallery director at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, University of Pennsylvania; Gallery Executive Director/Owner of the ASFE, as an visiting artist / Physical plant staff member at Haverford College, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In the fall of 1997, I was hired for the Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum as a museum exhibits specialist / designer in National Archives and Records Administration since. I serve as a commissioner for the Fine Arts Commission in the City of Buena Park; Parent Council / Sponsorship Committee Chair for Chapman University, Orange, CA; a Board of Directors for the Children Museum of City of Buena Park, CA. Currently, my work has been in an exhibition sponsored by Mercedes Benz in Fort Worth, TX and a Long Beach Veteran Hospital for Re-hab. Blind Center as Annual Creative Arts Program in long Beach, CA.
