Brent Crothers has been working for over 30 years professionally and has a MFA & BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Crothers has shown and worked in many museums and galleries throughout the East Coast of the USA and beyond. Crothers pieces are in a number of permanent collections including: The Anthropologie Collection, The Corcoran Museum of Art, The Hechinger Collection, and The Delaware Art Museum. Over the years Brent has received numerous grant and awards such as his Baker Artist Award's 2014 Mary Sawyer Baker Prize and the 2013 Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award. Crothers has had solo shows of his sculptures in Washington,DC, Baltimore,MD and New York City.
