Evelyn Eller attended a high school for the arts,the Art Students League, Pratt Graphics Center, the School for Visual Arts all in New York, as well as the Academia De Belle Arte in Rome, Italy on a Fulbright Fellowship. She was also a resident at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs, NY.

She has worked in various mediums, oil and acrylic painting, collage, printmaking and artist books.

She has exhibited widely, nationally and internationally, at the Whitney, Queens and Brooklyn museums in New York, the Smithsonian, Corcoran Gallery, National Jewish Museum in Washington,DC as well as in Mexico, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy, India and Germany.

She is represented in numerous public and corporate collections, including the Museum of the City of NY, Brooklyn Museum, Queens Museum in NY. National Museum of Women in the Arts, Wash. DC, Tyler Museum Texas, King Stephans Museum, Hungary, El Archivero, Mexico, Univ. of California, LA, Yale University,Conn., Rutgers University. NJ, Florida Atlantic University and many others.
