Drew Ippoliti is a graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He holds an MFA (Master’s of Fine Arts) in ceramics and is currently writing a Ph.D in Experimental Chinese Ceramics under Clare Twomey at the University of Westminster in London, England. In 2009 Ippoliti was awarded a US Department of State, J William Fulbright Fellowship to China where he worked with archeologists and artists in Western China’s premier Cultural Relics Museum. Located inside of Xi’an Jiao Tong University the museum holds a vast historical ceramics collection dating as back 5000 years. Ippoliti is currently based in London but travels between the United States, United Kingdom, and China. More work can be found at www.drewippoliti.com.
